About

Cameron Brooks is a UK-based composer and multi-instrumentalist who specialises in atmospheric, piano-led music inspired by Nordic noir and small-town British drama. His work often begins at the felted upright piano he inherited from his nan - a beautifully warm instrument that has shaped much of his sound.

Recently, a collaboration track of his was selected for an Opia compilation - the community label founded by Ólafur Arnalds. Cameron also plays clarinet, saxophone and a handful of other instruments, bringing a performance-led approach to his compositions.

Based in Gloucestershire, he studied Creative Music Technology at Falmouth University and has since released two albums, both of which were featured on KEXP Radio.
